Red Rock Agateware Ceramic Vase

These red rock vases are reminiscent of the serrated Rainbow Mountains in Utah. The combination of two brown and white clays thrown on the wheel, they were heavily altered and hand-shaped like mountain rocks. While almost dry they were sanded with sandpaper. The vases were high fired and glazed inside.
