This work is the culmination of over four years from planning to execution, producing a single analog negative using a 1974 Mamiya RB67. The photograph was shot entirely on film and developed through traditional processes, with no digital alteration beyond color adjustment during scanning. The handmade pedestal featured in the image was constructed by the artist with guidance from local craftsman Matthew Crofton. The project emphasizes restraint, preparation, and physical process as integral parts of the final image.
