Rusting Serving Basket with Driftwood Handle

This basket has unique organic surfaces. The object is made from black clay and layered black and brown stains and crackle glaze on top creating the dry earth effect. The outside surface was impressed on a handmade wood bark mold. The handle is made from stained driftwood and connected by a natural leather cord. I love collecting driftwood. These came from Rialto Beach in Olympia National Park.
