Made in 2020, this photograph resists narrative, prioritizing feeling and gesture.

Shot on 35mm film, the image retains dust and other markings from the original negative. At the time, proper handling and storage were inaccessible. The negative was damaged before bing being scanned and selected for printing. These imperfections were not corrected or removed, remaining as quiet evidence of both the process and the time in which the image was made.
